In a laudable endeavor to support deserving students, particularly those hailing from underprivileged backgrounds irrespective of their creed or ethnicity, NMUC has established the NMUC Endowment Fund. This initiative seeks to alleviate the financial burden of academically excellent students by covering their tuition fees and living expenses. Notably, over 400 NMUC students currently belong to the B40 category, relying on PTPTN funding to partially defray their tuition costs.

Recognizing the financial constraints faced by our students, NMUC endeavors to alleviate their burden by facilitating installment payments for the remaining tuition fees. However, the escalating cost of living in Johor Bahru has exacerbated the challenges faced by our students, with a significant portion of their expenses allocated to sustenance and accommodation, leaving scant resources to meet their monthly tuition installments.

In essence, NMUC remains steadfast in its dedication to nurturing maritime talent and fostering inclusivity, ensuring that no deserving student is deprived of the opportunity to pursue their educational aspirations due to financial constraints.
